Ellen Pierson recently retired after serving as a special agent with U.S. Department Homeland Security in Tampa, Florida.  Ellen began her 34 year career in law enforcement with the US Customs Service in Miami, Florida.

 

In 2002, Ellen began cycling in law enforcement related events. She has logged many a mile in these events to include – Law Enforcement United, Police Unity Tour, Concerns of Police Survivors Indiana, Tour De Force Florida, World Police and Fire Games, Nevada Law Games, Florida Law Enforcement Games, and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Bike Ride.

 

In 2015, Ellen established The Honor Roll (THR) to ensure law enforcement officers and their families across the USA would not be forgotten.  THR changes their route every year to ensure we meet new families and co-workers of the fallen officers and display our gratitude for their sacrifice. 

 

Ellen has received extensive training in bicycle safety. She is an instructor with the League of American Bicyclists. A member of the Florida Bicycle Association, Adventure Cycling Association, and Bicycle Adventure Club.
